• Photos: Images you take of your fridge, meals, or body progress. These are processed by our AI to identify ingredients and estimate nutritional values.
• Usage data: Scan history, saved recipes, and daily macro logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the FridgeAI service.
• Generate personalized recipe recommendations based on your ingredients and goals.
• Analyze meal photos to estimate nutritional content.
• Send you weekly summary emails (if you opt in).
• Send push notifications for daily reminders (if you enable them).
• Process subscription payments through RevenueCat.

3. Photos and AI Processing

Photos you submit for scanning are sent to our secure backend and processed by Claude AI (Anthropic) to identify ingredients or estimate macros. Photos are not stored permanently on our servers beyond what is necessary for the feature to function. Body progress photos are stored in your private, encrypted storage and are only accessible by you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider.
• Anthropic: AI processing of food photos (no personal data is included in AI requests).
• RevenueCat: Subscription management.
• Apple / Google: For in-app purchases and push notifications.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@thefridgeai.com.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, and row-level security on our database to protect your information.

7. Children's Privacy

FridgeAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
